On the Move

February and March in Houston generally rocks.  It's a short window of time where we get to stretch our legs and enjoy the sunshine and mild weather before hunkering down for 6 months of sweltering heat and humidity.  Also, and equally important, my hair generally looks awesome this time of year.

To burn off some of GHC's endless energy, we've been spending a lot of time running around parks around town.  The added benefit of spending time in parks is that grass is a much more forgiving surface for GHC to undertake her numerous spills.

PS - wow, I did not get the memo about having to watch your kids eat it all the time when they start walking.  It is taking some getting used to not to freak out every time GHC falls and bonks her head on the ground. The other night, she had a particularly nasty spill (thankfully right after we had closed our skype session with my parents) flat on her face.   Before it had fully bruised up, I was convinced she was going to get a black eye and that CPS would be busting down my doors to take me in for questioning.

But at least I would have good hair during that interview.
Throw your hands up in the air!  And wave 'em like you just don't care!

i've always suspected that part of the reason i love vegas so much is because most of my lifetime good hair days have happened there. gotta love the no humidity.
