Apparently (and appropriately), I am "on shout" for failing to recognize the birth of TWO of my very close friends' kids in 2006. So, here is a special blog entry dedicated to Baby J and Luca. Both of whom (very disappointingly) insist upon moving around the country in an effort to deny me any access!
Luca was born on August 2, 2006, in Durham, NC, and immediately decided that he wasn't into fresh mountain air. So, he forced his parents to move to DC right away. After a year of beltway traffic, he sent his family packing to Seattle. He now spends his days doing extreme outdoor sports worthy of a Mountain Dew commercial.
Not to be geographically outdone is Baby J, born on October 8, 2006, in San Fran. Much like Luca, Baby J decided that her parents needed to get some more bar exams under their belt, so off they went to the City of Brotherly Love! Jillian usually spends her days chilling with her favorite Trinidadians and keeping her mom in line when she parties too hard.
Anyway, special New Year's hugs to Luca and Baby J. Please forgive Auntie NK, who loves you very much! Blame the champagne... or THC!
